Biography
Anna Feuchtwanger-Steinitz (née Steinitz) was born on 30.11.1878 in Gleiwitz/Schlesien in Poland and died in 1942 in Jerusalem. She immigrated to Palestine in 1930. Anna was married to Eliezer Feuchtwanger. She was an educator and was active in Jewish orphanages in Germany. In Palestine, she headed a girls’ orphanage named Ohel Hannah Em Habanot located in Jerusalem and Tiberias and founded additional orphanages in later years.
